About Us

Founded in 2001, TeleDerm Solutions, Inc. provides cost-efficient online dermatology consultations for healthcare organizations, physicians and their patients.

The TeleDerm Solutions Application ( version 2.0) is currently in use both in research and clinical setting s. Our software-based product combines digital imaging, Web technology, knowledge management and consulting services to bring a state-of-the-art Teledermatology solution to medical professionals worldwide.

Management Team

Dr. Hon Pak, Chairman and Co-founder - Hon Pak is a leading expert in the field of teledermatology. He founded TeleDerm Solutions in August 2001 and serves as the Chairman of the Board and dermatology domain expert for the company. Dr. Pak is a chair of the Telemedicine Task Force for the American Academy of Dermatology. Moreover, he is the incoming President of the American Telemedicine Association and chair of the standards committee. In addition, he is a former chairman for the Teledermatology special interest group for American Telemedicine Association. He has conducted extensive research and published numerous articles and chapters on telemedicine and dermatology.

Joshua Laase, Chief Information Officer Joshua Laase manages the development efforts at TeleDerm Solutions with a project manager and a team of three developers. Prior to working with TeleDerm Solutions, Mr. Laase was Director of Development for PowerBrief Inc. for two years and provided development services for PentaSafe Technologies as well as NetIQ in Houston. Mr. Laase is an expert in Web development, database design and system architecture and holds a BS in Microbiology from Texas A&M University.

Brian Good, Chief Operating Officer – Brian Good is the general manager for TeleDerm Solutions. Mr. Good has managed teams for over 15 years and has a Masters degree in Business from the University of Texas at Austin and a B.S. from the United States Military Academy at West Point. He is a certified Project Management Professional (PMP) and has managed technology development projects for Applied Materials, BMC Software, and the Lower Colorado River Authority.

Ed Correa, Director of Product Development and Education Ed Correa heads the TeleDerm Solutions training section. Mr. Correa has a broad background in Public Health, Population Health, Primary Care Optimization, Managed Care support and Telemedicine. He has extensive experience with digital imaging, and his training experience includes new implementation of new Telemedicine program. Ed is a member of the Teledermatology special interest group for the American Telemedicine Association.

Keith Farley , Director of Technical Support – Keith Farley is the Director of Technical Support at TeleDermSolutions. Mr. Farley graduated from Cameron University with a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing in 1984.  He earned a Masters degree in Human Resource Development from Webster University in 1989.  Keith is a Lieutenant Colonel in the US Army Reserve with 25 years of active and reserve service.
